Facilities & Session Times

FACILITIES
The group is situated in a 'self sufficient' barn with our own tack room, tie up area and static caravan (visitor/rider) reception.

Since 2004 there has been a rolling programme to improve our facilities including a decking area with wheel chair access and mounting block. In the barn a volunteer room has been built and drainage incorporated throughout the tie up area. In 2007 the group was able to create 'hard standing' areas in the fields. These allow our ponies to feed from hay rings without wallowing in mud!

We have access to an indoor and outdoor schooling arena for lessons, plus a variety of farm / woodland tracks and off road hacking suited to all levels of riders.

SESSION INFORMATION
The group meets every Wednesday, Friday and Saturday between 9.30am and 1.30pm.

Lessons and hacks are 30 minute sessions at 10.30am, 11.30am and 12.15pm Wednesday / Friday. And 10.30am & 11.30am Saturday.

We currently have 41 riders who benefit greatly from their half hourly sessions. Since the start of 2008 we have been able to offer places to some of the children on our waiting list. And our riders now range in age from 5 to 66!
